Die Fotografie entdeckte Christian Hildebrand schon als kleines Kind durch seinen Vater, ein angefressener Naturfotograf. Mit 17 Jahren erstand Christian Hildebrand seine erste Kamera, um fortan selber über Bildausschnitt und Inhalt entscheiden zu können. Die stillen Bilder seiner Welt zeigen eine grosse Tiefe.

Die Berufung Fotograf konnte er erst im Jahr 2005 verwirklichen, nachdem er in der Computerbranche 15 Jahre tätig war. Seit 2008 arbeitet er nebst seiner künstlerischen Tätigkeit als freischaffender Fotograf.

As a young child I discovered the love of photography through my father who was an accomplished nature photographer. I bought my first camera when I was 17 years old.

In 2005, after having been very successfully employed in the computer business for fifteen years, I realized the vocation to become a professional photographer, by completing a professional photographer education. I now work as an independent commercial photographer in addition to my art photography.
